ABOUT LORENS

I’m Lorens, nice to meet you!

I specialize in customized curly cuts, education & bridal.

Hey curl hey! I’m Lorens, a native Puertorriquena who is proudly serving the Dallas curl community as Ringlet Reina. After years of heat and chemical damage on my own hair, my obsession for curls and curl care has led me to focusing my talents into all natural hair: wavy, curly and coily. My goal for all of my guests is to leave my chair feeling beautiful, pampered and uplifted in their natural curls.

I am a proud Aveda Institute Alum and curl specialist. I specialize in curly cuts for all ages, curly bridal styling and virtual coaching with a focus on overall hair health and I take pride in my loyal clients dubbing me their “Curl Doctor.” While most stylists offer a great first salon visit, I see my role as your stylist a bit differently. I work together with all my guests to provide a long term hair care plan to ensure they achieve all of their curl goals. With customized tips, routines and product recommendations I promise to demystify your curl routine and have you ready to style for any occasion. At every appointment I will check in with your progress and see if there’s any new concerns that we may need to work through together.

When I’m not behind the chair, you can catch me face painting at local community events, playing with my 2 and 10 year old shorty Jack Russells, Luke and Leia, and munching on a tasty charcuterie board with my husband.

Love is in the hair and I want you to love yours!
